Bio
Born and bred in Zimbabwe, I came to the UK in 2001 and straight to Sheffield and Rock Christian Centre. My Dad was a local pastor in the Rural District of Gokwe with the ‘Apostolic Faith Mission’.
Married to Eveline, we have four children, two boys and two girls. The boys are now both married providing us with 3 lovely grandchildren. The older of our girls is now working for the NHS in Kings Lynn and the youngest is doing her Secondary education.
I worked in Mechanical Engineering for over twenty years in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. When I came to England I enrolled at Sheffield Hallam University to re-train as a teacher of Design and Technology. Having qualified and worked as a teacher for a few years I was unable to continue working as a teacher, due to Immigration issues. However, God has been faithful throughout our challenging circumstances as a family and after a long struggle with the Home Office the family was granted limited leave to remain in the UK.
I now work for two charities which support people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
Interests/hobbies. Worship music, historical programs, International politics, traveling, sport – particularly football and Liverpool!
