Give us the lost
Luke 15:1-32
The 1% are very important. They are the one’s who feel they are no good, not worthy. These are the very people Jesus came for.
How do you count 100 sheep? How do you know one is missing? God knows each and every one of His sheep. He knows all of us. He knows the saved and He knows the lost. There is more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents. We can increase the rejoicing in heaven by telling people the Gospel. One person repenting over their sins is so important. Scripture repeatedly tell us that the place of the unrepentant is hell!
We need to seek God for the lost. Everything God has is ours as Christians. How are the lost going to know about Jesus? We need to go out and find the lost and tell them what Jesus has done for them. Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). How many people out there are looking to eat what the pigs are eating? They need Jesus. It is God’s will that none should perish.
What is sin? Sin is breaking the law and lawlessness (1 John 3:4). The world does not know what sin is. The lost of the world do not know what sin is. They do not know what God’s law is or that they are breaking it. Judgement has to come (Romans 6:23). All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). But we have Jesus. He has paid the penalty for our sin (John 3:16). It is vitally important that we preach the Gospel (Romans 1:16-17).
