A church for all nations

His glory, my good

His glory, my good

Romans 8:28-29 (NKJV)

  1. Who is a Christian? – A Christian is one who loves God. A Christian gives himself to God because of what Jesus has done for them. Romans 8:28 does not say all things work for the good of non-Christians. It says all things work for God’s good and His purpose. Every part of creation has been made to glorify God. Do you love God?
  2. What is happening to the Christian? – Christians are predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ. We were forknown and forloved by God from the very beginning. Neither death, nor life, nor anything in all creation can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:37-39). Our Father knows what He is doing.
  3. What therefore is the message of Christianity? – morality gives standards, but no power to live by those standards. The Christian message gives man the standards and the power to live by them. The Christian message is a message of a new kingdom. The Christian message is about how God displays His salvation for mankind. The Christian message is exclusive. There is no other name by which we may be saved other than Christ Jesus (Acts 4:12).
