The Gospel of Luke: Jesus is for everyone – Everyone invited to the feast

Luke 14: 1-24

1. God’s great kingdom feast – Who wouldn’t like to go to a Feast? There will be a great Feast in the kingdom of heaven (Luke 13:29; Isaiah 25:6-9). We are all invited. Jesus speaks of the joy and wonder of the kingdom of God and we should be looking forward to this feast of God. To guarantee our place at God’s kingdom feast in heaven we need to be part of God’s kingdom here on earth.
2. Don’t miss out on the feast –
   a. Don’t refuse the invite.
   b. Don’t object to others God invites.
   c. Don’t con yourself that God will let you in.
   d. Don’t believe that you deserve a place.
