When Jesus says I love you

Romans 5:6-10

God doesn’t look at our intellect or what we have done, He looks at how much we love Him and how much He loves us. Whilst we were still sinners Christ died for us. There was nothing to commend us to God. John says we should look at the love God has bestowed upon us (1 John 3:1).

When Jesus says He loves us He does it from the highest place, He says it from the cross. He loves us passionately and He looks for us to reflect His love back to Him and out into the world. Jesus put everything behind His statement of love for us (John 3:16). Are you seeking Jesus with everything you have?

Everyone needs love. We cannot exist without the love of God.

Love is not a diamond in a ring on our finger, it is a cross. There is no love like the love of Jesus. Do you know His love? Does your love for God glow brighter every day?
